The Frank Ghery designed Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is a phenomenon in itself. A flowing tower of glass and titanium panels it was a sensation when opened in 1997 and continues to draw masses of visitors to the city of Bilbao, the capital of the Basque Autonomous Region of Spain.
