Jenavee Viernes, a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery senior team leader, provides an introductory brief to local Thai workers during excavation operations in Lampang Province, Thailand, , 2022. This mission is DPAA’s effort to locate a missing service member from a crash site during World War II. DPAA’s mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting for missing and unaccounted-for personnel to their families and our nation.
