Thisconstruction is well hidden in the exteriortreatment. In the plans for the Hospital for Rup-tured and Crippled (Figs. 141-143), NewYork City, a most comprehensive schemeis carried out. This service is largely forchildren and the planning is simple andstraightforward as the outpatient sec-tion, consisting of thoroughly equippedrooms and departments, is entered on theleft of the center while a correspondingentrance on the right enters the execu-tive department.
