Amsterdam Ice Skating on a frozen Canal in winter. Prinsengracht Canal. People in front are lining up, queuing up for soup and hot chocolate and gluhwein, mulled wine. In Dutch that sort of service on the ice is called Koek en Zopie (like Food and Drink). The house boat on the right is the House Boat Museum. People can be seen with shopping bags: this is the heart of the Nine Little Streets shopping district where the winter sales are on.
