Norton Motorcycles, now owned by TVS Motor Company, opens new factory in Birmingham two years after previous company went into liquidation.


12/11/21 The new re-engineered Norton V4SV billed by Norton as “The most luxurious British superbike ever created”. Almost two years after going bust, Norton Motorcycles, now owned by TVS Motor Company has re-opened. It has relocated to a state-of-the-art facility near Birmingham - close to where the brand began 123 years ago. Today saw the classic motorcycle company officially open its factory and production line in Solihull where it employs 120 staff. Going-forward, Norton are promising a completely upgraded range of motorcycle inherited from the old company, and new models in the pipeline including, sports, retro and e-motorcycles. CEO Robert Hentschel said his company are aiming to build 8,000 motorcycles each year and is also offering help to owners saddled with worthless and dangerous models supplied by the previous owners.
