In a ease of my own of right isthmial pregnancy the patient had not evenmissed a menstrual period when she was suddenly taken with violent pains, in-terpreted as colic from indigestion, and bled to death in two days from a littlemass not larger than a bean, about 1x2 centimeters in size, ruptured on thedorsal surface. After the rapture of the tube the fetus may escape into the ab-dominal cavity and continue to develop.
