Probably the most promising at the present time is onetechnically known as Blepliaripa scutellata, a large and stronginsect, not unlike the common fly in general appearance. Thefemales of this species deposit several thousands of exceedinglyminute eggs upon the foliage of trees near where the caterpillarsof the preferred host are feeding. These eggs
