Army Reserve Spc. Kiara N. Medina, financial management technician, assigned to 413th Finance Detachment, 393rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 166th Regional Support Group, 1st Mission Support Command out of Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico, provides ongoing support to the mobile kitchen trailer team, October 3, 2017. Medina and her family were struggling after Hurricane Maria devastated her hometown Corozal, Puerto Rico. Despite her tenuous situation, Medina answered Brig. Gen. Dustin A. Shultz call to duty over the radio; the only means of communication on the island at the time.
