Insome cases the toes of the forwardfeet must be reduced all that ispossible, and the toes of the hindfeet lengthened. In others, weightsor heavy shoes ui:)on the forwardfeet answer a good purpose. Insome, weights upon the outside ofthe hind feet overcome the diffi-culty. If the hind feet are placed uponthe ground well forward when theanimal is at rest, heel-calks ofextra length will be found , as a cause of click-ing, is shown in colts and in horses that have diseased hind feet.
