Mr. Ed-wards was born in Pennsylvania and is forty-two years of remained a resident of his native state until his parentsremoved to Utah. Upon reaching the Territory, the familylocated at Smithfield, following the agricultural Mr. Edwards continued until 1859 when he came toLogan where all of his active business undertakings have sincetranspired. For years back he has been interested more or lessin the mining pursuit of the West and now stands at the head ofseveral companies that own and control
