GREAT LAKES, Ill. (July 18, 2018) Recruits complete a platfrom jump druing a 3rd class swim qualification at the USS Indianapolis pool at Recruit Training Command (RTC). Recruits are required to pass the qualification in order to graduate from boot camp, which includes a 10-foot platform jump, 50 meter swim and a five-minute prone float. Approximately 38,000-40,000 recruits graduate annually from RTC.
