Ye Olde Bell was built in 1135 AD as a guest house in Hurley village close to the river Thames in Berkshire, Britain. The Inn was an important staging point ( Stage Coach and pulled by horses) on the Oxford to London route, with the last recorded schedule in 1890. During World War Two, Sir Winston Churchill, General Dwight D.
