Protesting Students at the University of London invaded Senate House in an attempt to disrupt a meeting of the university's management. Unable to fine the room where the meeting was being held, they gained access to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Adrian Smith's office, via a balcony where they entered and searched for documents. Several files and documents were thrown out of the window. The students want Professor Smith dismissed, better working conditions for ancilliary staff and to have the students' union back under student management.
