Tamar shows the staff and ring of Judah; History of Judah and Tamar; Theatrum Biblicum Hoc Est Historiae Sacrae Veteris et Novi Testamenti Tabulis Aeneis Expressae. Judah lets the fire broken to burn Tamar's daughter-in-law. He wants to punish her because she has behaved like a whore and has become pregnant. However, Tamar shows him his staff and signet ring, with which she proves that he has made her pregnant. Then Judah acknowledges that he is guilty and not tamar. At the bottom of the margin a reference in Latin to the Bible text in Gen. 38:24. This print is part of an album.
