The results of lastyears work upon these has been to give us larger and more expanded flowers, and a considerablyincreased proportion of the rarer and the brighter colours, particularly among the rose, rosy-purple, reddish, and magenta shades ; and from the seed now offered, which has been furtherhybridised, many entirely new and striking varieties may be confidently expected.
