Proboscis fully developer]; palpi porrect, slender, reaching just beyond fi-ons; antenniB of male with bristles and cilia; tibiae with the spurs long. Fore wing rather narrow, the costa arched towards apex, the termen oblique ; vein 2 from long before angle of cell, oblique; 3 from near angle; 4, 5 on a long stalk ; 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 stalked, 7 given oif beyond 9 ; 11 from close to angle of cell, free. Hind wing with vein 2 from close to angle of cell; 3, 4 coincident; 5 from well above angle, curved ; 6, 7 coincident; 8 from middle of cell; male with an elliptical patch of white androeonia in cell on underside covered by the costal area of hind wing, which is reduced to a large lobe fringed with long hair, the apical part being truncate and veins 5, 6, 8 very short. 562.
