Glacial sediments. The cracked and collapsed layers of this sediment show the disruptive effects of freezing and thawing in a varying climate. These are recent deposits from a glacier, and have not been indurated, or fully hardened and compressed. This outcrop, measuring around 15 metres across, is in northern Norway.
