RUDBECKIA (Cone-flower). ' Golden GlO'W.' A glorious plant, and one that should find a place in every garden. Without question the best hardy plant introduced in many years. It is of fine habit and vigorous growth, attaining a height of from 4 to 6 feet, and begins to flower early iu the season, and continues until in the fall. The flowers are produced in enormous quantities on long stems, and resemble a fine double golden-yellow cactus dahlia; and as a cut flower for vases, etc., it has no equal. (See cut.) Xewniailii. Dark orange-vellow flowers, with deep purple cone, borne on stiff', wiry stems, admirably fitting it for cutting. Purpurea {Giant Purple Cone-flowei).
