Should the tool still fail to cut the TOOLSMITH AND STEELWORKER 93 metal, use equal parts of powdered cyanide of potas-sium and prussiate of potash. To use this compoundheat the tool as hot as if it was to be hardened, thenplace the heated, cutting edge of the tool into the pow-der, reheat again to a proper hardening heat andplunge into the hardening bath and cool off entirely.
