The Israeli military deployed along a guard wall from where they can fire tear gas at the protesters during the Friday protests. Bilin is a village in Palestine which regularly protests the construction of the nearby Israeli settlements. The local Palestinian population believe the Israeli settlements are illegal and are occupying land formerly owned by Palestinian families living in the village.
