What's their connection? Working in conjunction with Ocean Spray and McDonald's of Lexington, Minuteman students created several cranberry dipping sauces for McDonald's Chicken McNuggets. Students Nora Daley and Joyce Smith created the prizewinning sauce. Murphy and chef Arend, along with other judges, chose the Daley/Smith sauce as winner during the celebrity taste test at Great Chefs Day. As a fundraiser for the National Kidney Foundation, Great Chef's Day raised proceeds of over S10,000.
