Empress Elisabeth of Austria(1837-1898),a personal seal from her Achilleion palace on Corfu Gold,silver,four emeralds,two rubies,and a sapphire(?). The vertical oval,silver seal face is cut with the typical dolphin for the Achilleion beneath Imperial crown. The gold openwork handle in the shape of the kneeling Atlas(ruby eyes)on a base supported by one of two dolphins(emerald eyes). He bears the silver world on his shoulders with the continents represented in relief and the Isle of Corfu marked with a blue gem(sapphire?).
