The Coptic Quarter is an area of old Cairo, Egypt which comprises a large number of monuments and historical sites. The include the Babylon Fortress, the Coptic Museum, the Hanging Church, the Greek Church of St. George. The place is visited by a large number of tourists as well as the devout since it is believed that the Holy Family stayed here when they were in Egypt during the flight from Palestine. Cairo has a significant Christian population, located here.
