Tibetan traveler during a rest stop eating tsampa from bowl en route to Lhasa from Kashgar Xinjiang across the Tibetan plateau Tibet Autonomous Region China. He was hitch hiking on trucks. He mixed tsampa, which is cooked grains of barley ground into a flour, with some butter tea to make an edible paste.
