(Willard) Woodbury, and I am told that there are li^ing in Cum-berland, Me., eight in the fourth generation, and twenty-seven inthe fifth generation, and at least fift} in the sixth generation ofthe descendants of Ebenezer and Mary (White) Robinson. Samuel Robinson, son of John* and Mehitable Robinson,was born in Cape Elizabeth, Me., in 1758. He married on the17th of Sept., 1781, Elizabeth Emery, a daughter of John Emery,who settled in Cape Elizabeth on the Point. They had eightchildren: (i) Betsey, born Nov. 2, 1782, and who died Feb. 22, 54 JOHN ROBINSON. 1786; (2) SamueP, who married Harriet Ilsley, and have sevenchildren, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren nowliving; (3) Ebenezer, who married for his first wife HannahNoyes, and second, Betsey E. Peabody, had six children, notone descendant now living; (4) John Emery, who married
