A schuetzen rifle, Schilling in Suhl, circa 1850 Blued two-stage barrel with rifled bore, octagonal then round, in 10 mm calibre, with front tunnel sight and quadrant sight on top, on the right side of the muzzle a bayonet rib, patent breechblock and tang with fine tendrils engraving, thereon an aperture sight. The percussion lock is also engraved, inscribed on the lock plate "Kuhff". Set trigger. Bright, beautifully grained full stock with iron furniture, engraved en suite.
