ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 9, 2016) – Petty Officer 2nd Class Stephen Baker, a native of Little Rock, Ark., bows his head in prayer during a burial-at-sea ceremony in honor of Mrs. Alice S. Roddis, held on the starboard aircraft elevator aboard amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Roddis, a native of Wilkes Barre, Pa., was the grandmother of Lt. Alex Crosby, burial officer for the ceremony.
