Civilian nurses and doctors who have volunteered to participate in Operation Unified Response board a bus to be shuttled to the port to await transportation to the USNS Comfort. The nurses and doctors will work side-by-side with naval medical personnel aboard the Comfort for two weeks. The arrival of this group of 25 nurses and doctors are the first official wave of volunteers from non-government organizations to be transported by the Navy. Operation Unified Response 249819
