Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol, UK. 4th January 2022. Pictured: An overlay image of 350 photographs shows circumpolar star and aircraft trails above the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol. / The peak of one of the 'best meteor showers of the year' begins this evening, when the Quadrantids sends up to 50 shooting stars per hour streaking across the night sky. Quadrantids are well known for their bright 'fireball' meteors that leave large explosions of light and colour that last longer than average meteor streaks which appear to emanate in the constellation Bootes, near the Big Dipper. // Lee Thomas, Tel. 07784142973.
