Cardinal Johann Rudolf Kutschker, 1891. Johann Rudolf, Kutschker (1810-1881) was Prince-Archbishop of Vienna in 1876 and became a cardinal in 1877. He wrote a collection of regulations by which the curate clergy must adhere (4 volumes, 1847-1850) as well as a work on marriage law in the Catholic Church based on his theory and practice (5 volumes, 1856-1857).
