We know for a fact thatthis is often done, hut in such instances the retailershould insist upon this stipulation being clearly writ-ten upon his copy of the order. Among these are whale steaks, that were recentlyserved at a great New York banquet, and pronounced by the guests to be deli-cious. It is expected that this new source of food may help the poorman to cheaper food, and may be a means of conserving food for the needy in Europe.
