On September 19, musicians from Russia, Belarus, Cuba, the USA, Spain, Bulgaria, Japan and Israel performed on the stage of the VDNKh Green Theater, followed by a rock tournament. Among the performers are American rock musician Alex Karlin, Cuban band Gypsy Jack, funk rock singer and participant of the show "The Voice" Makenza and others. The winners of the competition were selected by the jury, which included the stars of Russian show business and sports: Dmitry Guberniev, Larisa Dolina, Anton Belyaev, Sergey Galanin and others. The creators of the legendary Woodstock-1969 festival gave permission to Russian organizers to use the name. The first Russian Woodstock took place in 2019 near Tula and brought together 55 young bands from different countries.
