Active inChurch work, Elder Wood has servedas a ward teacher, president of theSeventies Quorum, and later as groupleader of the High Priests. SisterWood has been Relief Society secre-tary and work director, as well asbeing an active genealogical researcherfor many years. The Woods have afine family of five children and 23grandchildren, and their oldest grand-son, Elder LaVell Wood, is nowlabouring as a missionary in and Sister Wood have beenassigned to labour in Hamilton, Wai-kato District.
