Young Alaka’i Leader Development Program participants receive a capabilities overview from the Sri Lanka Navy as part of YA Phase III (In-Country Immersion) on Feb. 27. Twenty-two top-performing company-grade officers, warrant officers, noncommissioned officers, and DA civilians from across the Army, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard participated in the cultural immersion training spanning Sri Lanka, Thailand and Japan to increase their geo-political understanding, foster networking and peer-to-peer relationship building and exposure to executive-level mentorship.
