An elegantly dressed lady is sitting in front of an open fire, between a young man to whom she gives her heart and an old man who holds a glasses. The young man receives the heart. The old man (Den Ouden Cuden Hutselaer) is "spotted," that is, deceived and may heat his cold hands to the fireplace. He himself issued the print of Gilles van Breen to Pieter de Jode, who served the Bry, together with his brother Johan Israel.
