The trays for the butter are let down into the box, one >ipon another, and may be lifted out with the butter in tliem. A movable ice box is placed in the centre. The lour sides of the tray are surrounded by a non-conducting air space, which is valuable in preserving the temperature and saving tl)e ice. Malleable iron chest handles, well secured to the sides of the box, make it convenient to carry. The boxes are especially suited to square or oblong prints. The mould with the butter in it may be quickly turned the other side up by lifting it with a finger of each hand in the small depressions in ends of box, when the base may be removed and the butter pushed out.
