A marine flatworm from the genus Acanthozoon or Thysanozoon crawls on a red sponge


Marine flatworms undulate like a flowing ribbon as they crawl across the reef. This is a particularly beautiful species commonly seen on the reefs of Papua New Guinea, yet many identification books are unclear on its proper identification, reasserting PNG as one of the most remote and difficult to study regions on Earth.
