Candlestick of cast silver with bell-shaped base, The bell-shaped base, the baluster-shaped trunk and the candleholder are all twisted (the candleholder in the opposite direction) and are made up of alternating lobes and ribbed sections. The foot has a contoured bottom edge. Foot and trunk are decorated with flower sprays, seed beads and C-volutes, the candleholder with foam motifs. The trunk is closed at the top and bottom by a constricted, octagonal, outward curling section. The loose fat trap is made up of curling leaves. Engraved on the outer edge of the foot: HDR.
