CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Flames and an exhaust plume under space shuttle Atlantis signals 'engine start' at NASA Kennedy Space Center's Launch Pad 39A. Atlantis' STS-132 mission to the International Space Station launched on time at 2 20 EDT on May 14, after a relatively smooth countdown. STS-132 is the 132nd shuttle flight, the 32nd for Atlantis and the 34th shuttle mission dedicated to station assembly and maintenance.
