A late 19th century view of the Market Place in Kingston upon Thames aka Kingston, a town and borough in Greater London and within the historic county of Surrey, England. The first surviving record of Kingston is from AD 838 as the site of a meeting between King Egbert of Wessex and Ceolnoth, Archbishop of Canterbury.
