Hundreds gathered to hear the town Mayor Cllr Carol Butter read a statement from the Town Council and the Proclamation King Charles III outside The Minster in Wimborne Dorset 11/09/2022. With the town crier and the town Mayor’s Serjant Chris Brown announcing the reading by the Mayor and with The Rev. Canon Andrew Rowland by her side, the proclamation was followed by a gun salute by the Wimborne Militia.
