A letter was read from the Kansas State Florists' Association, t(dling of the wonderful wctik being done by that organization. It is exi)ected that be- tween 200 and ;U)0 from Kansas will at- tend the con\'ention. Reports from all committees were made to Cliaiinian William L. Rock. Mr. Rock said that he and Samuel Mur- ray had visited tlie news](a]iers of the city and were ]ironiised generous pub- licity for the convention. The ])apers will gladly use all news relating to the meeting. They have already i)rinted a nunilier of stories coiu'erning it. A uni()uc feature will be a radio concert and invitation to be broadcasted by the Kansas City Star the evening of Au- giist 7. Tlie Star oftice is e(|uipped with one of tlie most comjilete and pow- erful broadcasting stations in the world. It is capable of reaching any point in the United States and Canada. A mu- sic;il ))rogram by local florists, ;i talk by William L. Rock and a short talk on "How to Beautifv Home Grounds," by T'rof. H. C. Irish^ of St. Louis, will be some of the nnmluMs. Mr. Rock will extend an invitation to florists all over the country
