These do not fitinto each other, but they are sosimilar in composition, thickness,polish, and size of curvature, thatthere can be no doubt they be-longed to the same disc. The arcof the larger fragment, which isvery nearly a semicircle, indicatesthat the diameter of the completedcircle would be 4| inches. It ismade of a hard, dark, compactstone, highly polished on botlisides, and neatly cut at the circum-ference. It is a quarter of an inch pjg of Polishedthick at the edge, but becomes Disc(i). gradually a shade thicker towards the centre (Fig. 167)..
