(Marie Lambert.) This is a lovely white rose, a pure Tea, but a foreign seedling; the freest flowering white rose we have seen. It will be especially useful in set designs. For a pot plant it can not be excelled, as it possesses every good quality of a pot rose. We counted on one plant one hundred and forty-three buds and flowers in a single day, and the plant was only nine months old. It can be used in place of white Carnations for set pieces at an immense saving, because it can be bloomed profitably at $1 per 100 buds. Not only will it cover twice and three times the space in a funeral design, for instance, that a Carnation covers, but it will give greatly superior results. Try it. Price, 15 cents; large size, 25 cents. CLOTHILDE SOUPERT, (The Superb New Ever-Blooming Rose.) This rose originated with Messrs. Soupert & Notting, of Lux- embourg, Belgium. It is a strong, vigorous grower. The flowers are large, double and beautiful in form, with the style of the beautiful rose "Ball of ; The flowers are born in sprays, and the color blends from a soft shell pink to a pure satiny white. Roses with both of these colors are produced on the same plant at the same time. This rose is destined to take high rank as a pot rose for bedding purposes, and with the increased taste for roses in clustered sprays will be profitable as a cut flower. No other rose approaches it in flowering qualities, not even the grand old Hermosa. Price, 15 cents; large size, 25 cents. (For illustration see cut on page 20.) COQUETTE DE LYON.
