23/12/21 Ashbourne volunteer Hazel Ede with Rachel and Derek Murt unload chickens at Doorways Derby. Ashbourne's Moy Park Chicken donate 100 chickens to Doorways Derby. The birds were included in Christmas hampers given out by the charity to people on benefits, asylum seekers, refugees and other low income nominated families in Derby. Operating on the street from under a giant gazebo outside the co-founder's home the charity , set up in 2015, will give-out 200 Christmas boxes this week - 100 more than their normal weekly average.
