It stops about a third of a mile from the edge of the Baltoro,with a steep front about 300 feet high, without any detritus at its counting the little hanging glaciers of the smaller gulhes, theLiligo and one other glacier near the junction of the Baltoro with theGodwin Austen are the only tributaries which do not actually flow intothe mass of the Baltoro. The LiHgo valley slopes up gently from theBaltoro to the foot of a rocky height, whose structure in tiers of pyramidsreminds us of Paiju Peak, though it is far less imposing.
