William Johnson Sollas (1849-1936), British zoologist, geologist and anthropologist. Sollas studied at the Royal College of Chemistry, Royal School of Mines and St. John's College, Cambridge, where he obtained a degree in geology. He lectured in geology and biology and published 180 papers covering geology, chemical geology, invertebrate biology, palaeontology and antropology.
