Hampton Wick Festival 2013 - Baptist Church Display
Hampton Wick Baptist Church are represented at the Hampton Wick Festival 2013. Hundreds of Hampton Wick villagers in costume turned up to take part in the festival. All the streets were closed due to the Ride London Cycle Race and pubs, hotels and shops took advantage of the event. This image is shot looking up the high street with Hampton Wick Roundabout and Kingston Bridge at the end out of shot. Hampton Wick is a historical town situated close to Bushy and Home Royal Parks in the Royal Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. It is a desirable place to live and benefits from excellent schools and amenities. Real estate and property are at a premium in this area. The locals are somewhat 'arty' and eccentric, spending a lot of time drinking in the five local pubs.
