The buildings are in good repair. The interior has been painted, which gives it aneat appearance. Swinging dining tables, attached to the walls, have replaced the oldstationary ones. This gives more room, and is a decided improvement. The following table gives details of the prisoners who have served during the year,or who are at present serving sentence. The number of prisoners who have served or who are now serving terms of im-prisonment and sentenced this year was 82, classified as follows:— Crime. Sentences.
