'Galba', (3 BC - AD 69), 1830. Servius Sulpicius Galba (3 BC - AD 69) Roman emperor from 68 to 69. Praetor, consul, and governor of the provinces, following Nero's suicide, he became emperor with the support of the Praetorian Guard. He was murdered by Otho, who then became emperor.
